Affinity

This month Jan will be providing a tutorial on the new Affinity photo editing software. This is an excellent way to help members of the club unlock its powerful features and streamline their creative workflow. The tutorial will cover the essentials, such as navigating the interface, understanding key tools like layers and masks, and exploring advanced capabilities like non-destructive editing and live filters. Jan will be demonstrating practical examples—such as retouching photos, creating composites, and applying colour adjustments. This will be a useful learning experience for all and hopefully this will be engaging and hands-on. The tutorial will be aimed at both beginners and experienced editors to gain confidence in using Affinity Photo to produce professional-quality results.

Close-up and Macro

Part 1 - A presentation on how to get sharp, detailed close-up & macro images, with copies of handouts available to practice at home. (Part 2 will be a two hour practical session at our three-hour extended March meeting).
